The start of the NBA season is always special. Not only will the Warriors get their rings tonight, but a brand that I helped create alongside some friends will also be officially collaborating with the @Warriors. The collection honors the dynasty “currently in process” 😉 with a tee, crewneck sweatshirt & an amazing hat in collaboration with ‘47.

This is a major milestone for me, personally. Even though I’ve worked with the Warriors in designing “The Town” uniform, and other co-branded projects for NBA teams. It hits different when you look at the road it took, to be able to work with such a storied franchise and league as an independent minority owned business.

The goal for the logo was to create a mark that represented what Stephen Curry represents on and off the court. See below for the initial inspiration and creative deck that lead to the final output.

Converse “Sneaker Store” By DOC®
New artwork created for Converse.
An old-school, brick-and-mortar shoe store gets reimagined as a Converse shoe box on this quirky graphic tee. Old school nostalgia comes through the brightly-colored, double-exposed graphic, bringing hits of fun to the left chest and back. Rounded out with a crew neck and short sleeves on soft cotton for that classic tee look.
Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green chose to wear a t-shirt I created for him and Converse. Part of a signature athlete capsule that also includes Natasha Cloud and some soon to be released Converse athletes. Stephen Curry Teased the Exclusive Hoodie #BYDOC During his Pre-Game Tunnel Walk. It’s amazing to be able to help athletes tell authentic personal stories. For this project I looked to his tattoos for his innermost inspiration.

SAN FRANCISCO, June 11, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Three-time NBA champion and two-time MVP Stephen Curry and his purpose-driven company, SC30 Inc., unveiled surprise merch today during the NBA Finals Game 4 tunnel walk, which will be available exclusively to Curry's 2974 Collection NFT holders. This initiative further offers collection holders with unique and one-of-a-kind experiences that connect them with Curry.
With the help of his 2974 Discord channel, this exclusive merch was inspired by some of Curry's most prized possessions - his tattoos. Specifically, Curry's wrist tattoos tell a story of his drive to be better in basketball and in life, which is reflected through the hoodie and hat artwork.
The 2974 Collection will take a snapshot on Monday, June 13th at 11:59 pm EST to lock in all holders at that time. These holders will have access to a gated merchandise store on FTX US's NFT platform on June 15, closing ten days later on June 24.
Customers must hold their 2974 Collection NFTs in a FTX digital wallet and will be notified via personalized codes prior to the store opening. Holders from NY will be notified of specific instructions via the 2974 Collection NFT Discord channel. Additionally, collection holders who own multiple NFTs will receive merch discounts based on the number of NFT's they hold. At the time the store opens, customers will be able to purchase the hoodie and hat combo equipped with unique packaging and a personalized note from Curry himself.
