Dustin is a multi disciplinary Creative Director, Product Designer and Artist. He is a bay area native currently working in New York City under his namesake design agency DOC® STUDIO & clothing brands UNDRCRWN® and Trophy Hunting®. A respected basketball and lifestyle expert, Dustin was at the helm of the Nike and NBA partnership throughout the 2017 & 2018 Seasons.  He also directed Nike Basketball’s “Special Projects,”  creating a new vision for collaboration and Signature Athlete collections. 

We know that thousands if not millions of young people and professionals in the field are inspired by Dustin’s work, and this is exactly the purpose of our talk on Wednesday. 

We’ll dive into conversation about the thought process behind Dustin’s current and previous collaborative partnerships with brands like adidas, Reebok, Puma, Under Armour, Stephen Curry, Gilbert Arenas, Baron Davis, Stussy, UNDFTD, Fruition Las Vegas, Major DC, EA Sports,  A$AP Worldwide, The NBA and many other notable lifestyle brands.

Needless to say Dustin has a ton of experience and will share valuable insight. Truly a must watch episode for artists, designers, creators, stylists, sports fans, Bay Area natives and anyone that appreciates inspiring stories.

Growing up my dream was to work for Nike. What I didn’t realize is that you never stop dreaming. You never stop wanting more, you never stop pushing the finish line further. After working on the biggest project of my life, I finally understood that my dream to work at Nike was just a goal. Since I started designing and creating work for millions of people that I was already living my dream. Being KRON 4 news in the Bay brings my story full circle. Can’t wait to show you what’s next.

Sketch to Reality - Never Stop Drawing

From sketch to reality.
Drawing has always been a communication tool for me. As a conceptual designer, I was trained to visually communicate ideas as a means to solve problems. My ability to draw, translates into concepts for t-shirt designs, technical apparel, footwear, lookbooks, and photoshoots without having to necessarily explain it in words.

You may look at my illustrations at face value and like who it is or what they’re wearing, but these are visions I see beyond what’s on ‘paper.’ These are often visions I hope to turn into reality. 😉 💭

I appreciate anyone that supports our independent business. We need you to support us by sharing our brand and buying our products , so we can turn these these sketches & dreams into reality. I really feel we have the next great brand in the making.
